The Opportunity 

 

The UX / UI Designer is responsible for designing a viable solution platform that meet people’s needs. Has proven capability to grasp user needs / problems and translate the same into compelling user journeys that can be implemented digitally using a combination of workflows and user interfaces. Ultimately, the UX Designer is responsible for making the ‘Industry Cloud’ Platform and Apps more user-friendly and intuitive to attract and retain users.

 

Responsibilities  

 

            Strategic Roles and Responsibilities : 

Define UI/UX methodology and standards for ‘Industry Cloud’ 
Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends 
 
Operational Responsibilities : 

Understand product specifications and user psychology  
Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback  
Create personas through user research and data  
Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success  
Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs  
Explore creative solutions to user problems – e.g. usability, findability Work with UI Designers to implement attractive designs  
Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers 

 Stakeholder Management : 
Work closely with business end users and other stakeholders to deliver world-class user experience  
Work closely with product management and project team to implement the user experience / interface as designed 

People Management : 
Work with Industry Cloud team to develop appreciation for UI/UX and basic capability to interact with users for understanding user journey 

Ideally, you should have

Total years of professional experience in User Experience & Interface Design (Interaction + Visual) or similar role for Industrial Software Design  
Strong portfolio of design projects for data driven applications  
Good understanding of user-centered design principles across platforms  
Familiarity with Interaction Design and Information Architecture  
Hands-on knowledge on creating user personas, wireframes, prototypes and visual design for industries such as manufacturing, energy, utilities, logistics etc.  
Proficiency in standard design tools: Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, MS Office etc. plus hand drawing – to visually able to advocate for user needs throughout the development life cycle in an agile environment  
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript  
Android / iOS Design Elements is a plus  
Problem solving aptitude  
Analytical mind with a business acumen  
Excellent communication skills

The Opportunity

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent corporate financial strategy through a range of avenues such as managing and allocating accounts, financial statements, and tax data. The candidate will also be the point of contact for banks, auditors, and tax authorities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, incoming payments, payroll and deposits.

Prepare monthly MIS for review and reporting

Manage end to end finance and accounts function for Adani Sportsline.

Prepare quarterly and annual budgets for the fund entities

Prepare and file all monthly / quarterly / annual financial and performance reports

Work with portfolio companies on setting up standards for monthly MIS and business reporting and review and analyze these for performance monitoring and improvement

Review month-end financial results, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entries and accurate management reporting.

Prepare financial statements for senior management, board of directors and investors

Developing & maintaining relationships with banks & financial institutions including Treasury Management and other stakeholders.

Preparation of annual statutory accounts and tax returns

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Management

Maintain and enforce a documented system of accounting policies and procedures

Manage outsourced functions, including liaising with tax and compliance consultants

Manage control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures

Transactions

Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner

Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable

Ensure that accounts receivable is collected promptly

Process payroll in a timely manner

Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed

Maintain the books of accounts

Maintain an orderly filing system

Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions

Reporting

Issue timely and complete financial statements

Coordinate the preparation of the annual report

Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations

Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics

Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management

Provide for a system of management cost reports

Provide financial analyses as needed

Compliance

Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit and to the internal auditors for periodic audit

Ensure compliance with SEBI, RBI and other applicable regulatory authorities

Comply with local, state, and Central government reporting requirements and tax filings

 

Requirements & Skills

CA or CPA with 3-5 years of experience

Master's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field is preferable.

Must have a sports background, either playing at a competitive level or certificate in sports management.

Good to have: Prior Knowledge of maintaining books of accounts and MIS reporting

Experience working in a start-up will be an added advantage.
