Manager (Events and Business Development)

We are seeking to attract and hire an enthusiastic event manager with a can-do’ attitude who will assist the organization in hosting events within and outside India. The Manager (Events and Business Development) will be tasked with detailed research, securing venues, planning and managing our events successfully based on a scheduled calendar. The candidate shall also negotiating contracts and agreements with vendors, assisting with event marketing (offline and online), schedule and monitor the timeline and operate within the allocated budgets, besides developed a robust vendor ecosystem to achieve the event objectives. The candidate is expected to bring capabilities such as creativity, organizational skills, and vision to assist our organization in amplifying our brand objectives.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional organizational abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, time-management and multi-tasking skills, and work towards improving the organization's image, and successfully and effectively deliver the event objectives.

Responsibilities:

Executing events successfully.

Designing event concepts and implementing events.

Handling budgets and timely pay-outs.

Liaising and negotiating with vendors.

Effective handling of logistics.

Closely work with senior management teams.

Managing branding and communication.

Generating post-event reports.

Conduct research on events.

Prerequisites:

Master’s degree in management.

Good communication and marketing skills.

Experience in project management.

Leadership and organizational skills.

Ability to multi-task and work on stretch goals.

Effective time management.

Proficiency in MS Powerpoint, Excel and Word.

Good interpersonal skills.

Risk and crisis management experience.

Experience:

5 to 8 years in Event Management.
