Job Description for House Manager

Handle all personal and household related activities for the Senior Management.

Travel Booking: Work with the Founder's other PA to make requisite travel bookings – flights, hotels, cars, Pranaam, etc.

House Management: Managing a household staff. Hiring, training, uniforms, leave management, personnel issues, etc. Setting up SOPs for house management, housekeeping, kitchen, laundry, horticulture etc. Ensuring smooth functioning of household chores and that SOPs are being followed.

management of all household items. Ordering things for the house as needed – groceries, linen, bathroom consumables, etc. Coordinating repairs and maintenance in the house.
shopping for all items – clothing, toiletries, gadgets, artwork, gadgets, etc. This will mostly involve keeping track of items that need to be re-ordered & ordering them in a timely manner.

Dinner parties/Events: Work with household staff to plan details of dinner parties at the home. Menus, music, bar, table setting, etc.

Past Experience & Qualities required:

The ideal candidates will have worked in a similar role in the past.
Strong written And oral communication skills required.
The person must be tenacious
High energy, positive attitude and a strong ethic are non-negotiable.

Able to respect privacy and confidentiality are non-negotiable
