1. Installation, configuration and maintenance of MS SQL Server 2019, 2017, 2016, 2014, 2012

2. Strong knowledge in SQL clustering and Always ON

3. Experience of Applying SQL Server Service Packs, Hot Fixes on standalone / clustered instances

4. Upgrade / Migration of SQL Server from one version to another, In-place upgradation, Edition upgrade

5. Experience in DR-Drill activities

6. Troubleshooting of SSIS/SSRS issues

7. Strong knowledge in performance troubleshooting of SQL server

8. Configuring, managing and troubleshooting of Log shipping, Database Mirroring and Replication

9. Database full backup, differential backup, transaction-log backup, file & file group backup and copy only backup strategy under disaster recovery plan

10. Performing health check, database consistency & performance tuning of SQL servers

11. Monitoring SQL log viewer, SQL log file, Activity monitoring and OS Event log

12. Monitoring the database growth, disk space availability, CPU & Memory utilization and SQL server services status

13. Experience in performing index fragmentation and rebuilding

14. Strong communication skills

15. Strong team player – collaborates well with others & ability to share knowledge with team members

16. Should be strong in reporting mechanisms
