About the team
The Finance DataOps team delivers enterprise-wide analytics products (datasets, reports, dashboards) to our internal customers. Join us in building out our DataOps team that will directly impact the operations and decisions for thousands of internal customers, ranging individual contributors to senior management. Satisfy your curiosity and desire to learn while applying your technical acumen to building analytic data products that will help articulate and answer business questions that matter.
What you will be doing :
As a DataOps Engineer you will contribute to all delivery aspects of our analytic data products:
Contribute to the development and support of data flows/pipelines for the in our current EDW.
Provide data engineering support for our visualization developers, power users and other customers.
Participate in analysis and designs sessions with business and provide expertise and guidance to technology teams.
Ensure our development stories are development ready by contributing with relevant technical details (test cases, constraints, necessary references).
Other related duties assigned as needed.
What you bring:
Knowledge / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business or information technology or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
5+ years experience
Advanced data management and data wrangling expertise that includes SSIS development, solid SQL skills and a good understanding of the intricacies of building data flows/pipelines.
Ability to analyze source data systems to identify and document complex data mapping, business rule analysis, functional and non-functional requirements.
Ability to contribute in enterprise-wide data governance and data management efforts.
A good understanding of visualizations tools (Tableau, PowerBI) and integration aspects to various data sources.
Familiarity with working in the Agile/SCRUM framework.
Added bonus if you have:
Microsoft, Azure Certifications.
Sales and Finance area reporting experience and SME.
CRM / ERP experience with Dynamics and/or Oracle Fusion.
JIRA experience.

Working with Analyst closely on enhancements/changes, preparing promotion documents.
Handling L1and L2 support issues related to Power BI, Tableau recommends controls by identifying problems Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends .Interfaces with technology team to pass over user issues.
Providing support for different application which are used in FIS corporate.
Managing access control on application advanced features, handling escalations.
Coordinating with system support team as well as application owners for issue resolution.
Ensuring the business will and can support the solution prior to presenting to the customer.
CMS and JIRA ticketing system admin.
Strong understanding of Finance concepts and workflows
Prior experience working with CRM / ERP experience with Dynamics and/or Oracle Fusion.
SQL and PL/SQL skills a plus
Ability to analyze business challenges and recommend solutions utilizing Oracle's Cloud Applications
Ability to prioritize work and issues
Ability to work with remote teams to execute system setups
Attention to detail
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organization skills
Ability to work in a team environment and interact well with employees at all organizational levels
Competencies
Fluent in English
Familiarity with working in the Agile/SCRUM framework
Knowledge of resolving all production support issues related to Azure Cloud Modules.
Configuring the modules, designing reports and add-ons and coordinating with the technical team to monitor development and implementation progress
Self-starter but team mindset – work autonomously and as part of a global team
Proficient in understanding Oracle provided data models for reporting and able to create reports, dashboards, and extracts efficiently using subject areas and custom SQL.
Understanding of change management concepts and able to take ownership of critical changes to production environment
